Role Requirements:
  • Responsibilities include the maintenance, both proactive and reactive, of custom business web applications/control Advanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills along with strong related technical skills, and a history of successfully operating as part of a team that organizes, plans, and executes large-scale projects or assignments from vision to implementation
  • Able to work independently and solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional project teams and maintain team commitment to tasks
  • Broad conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in server / client applications, Web Technologies, PC computing environments desirable; in-depth experience in one or more is critical
  • Can-do positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, confident working with less-technically minded people
  • Ability to explain and communicate resolutions into a simple format, both in verbal and written form
  • Ensuring code is properly tested and functioning correctly before presentations to the internal team and helping to ensure bugs are fixed in within the contracted Service Levels (SLAs)
  • Experience working within an agile environment our clients operate on continual improvement programmes and have regular fortnightly releases
  • Ideally you will have working content editor knowledge of CMS platforms such as Sitecore and Umbraco, although this isnt essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Atlassian products such as Jira is essential. The teams work will be schedule and delivered using this tool
  • Any knowledge of cloud-based hosting platforms such as Azure would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Experience working with .NET development teams
  • A solid technical understanding of web-based development is essential. You are not expected to be a developer but will be expected to engage with technical personnel. The ability to converse confidently is a must
  • Experience of working with remote teams (UK)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak English at a business level
