Required Skills:
  • 3 years of experience in manual testing experience in web-based and standalone applications
  • Experience developing, documenting and implementing quality assurance standards
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
  • Strong experience with cross browser and cross platform testing (PC, mobile and tablet)
  • Strong experience in email and ad unit testing
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience writing new test cases based on requirements
  • Experience using SQL to validate database updates
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority
  • Demonstrated positive, results oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Test automation experience is a plus

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design QA plan for digital project under the guidance of QA Head
  • Create test scenarios/cases based on the business requirements
  • Work with business analyst to get test scenarios/cased reviewed and approved
  • Ensures the full application of all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes and procedures
  • Acts as a senior-level manual tester to handle all manual testing duties
  • Documents, tracks and verifies defects and fixes in assigned applications
  • Assists in the development and streamlining of quality assurance models, providing input based on relevant empirical information
  • Assists in the defining new tools for use in quality assessment
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, other departments, customer service associates, management, and peers
  • Participates in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards
  • Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of quality assurance problems and issues
  • Monitors the performance of applications under development
  • Works on the interpretation of quality assurance issues and problems for technical and non-technical personnel
  • Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) with the lines of business staff
  • Must be able to work flexible hours

Job brief:

Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for reviewing development requirements, as well as defining and executing test plans in order to ensure that products meet specifications during production through final life cycle of release/launch of all digital projects.
